Story
When an 8-year-old girl disappears on Caddo Lake, a series of past deaths and disappearances begin to connect, changing the story of a broken family. There is a wall where Anna’s mom says Marshall County, then says Harrison County.

Caddo Lake is a fascinating story that only really picks up steam in the “second half” of the film. The first time around is slow and rather dull, but the narrative twists and turns eventually more than make up for it.
I think it will take a second viewing to fully understand how the story ends
Dylan O’Brien is strong here, and it’s nice to see him back in the lead role, but the script didn’t give him much. Verdict: A slow first half with an interesting story that ends on a strong note.
Give the film time to develop
I recommend it as a “light” movie night. The final season of What Are We Doing in the Shadows is one of the biggest premieres on television and streaming this month.
