Eddie and Venom run
Story
Venom: The Last Dance returns Tom Hardy as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, in the final film of the trilogy. Hunted by both worlds and coming together, the Internet couple is forced to make a devastating decision that will bring down the curtains on Venom and Eddie’s final dance. Check out some of our favorite superheroes in costume and incognito. Whose transformation is your favorite? Before Kelly Marcel was hired to direct the third film, Andy Serkis, who directed Venom 2 (2021), expressed interest in returning to direct the next Venom film and felt that future Venom films needed more exploration before the character met.
Sequel to Venom (2018)
Spider-Man in the upcoming MCU/SSU crossover, including further exploration of the Ravencroft Institute and other potential villains held there. Venom: Eddie…my home found us.. My relationship with the Venom franchise has been rocky. I don’t like the first one, I absolutely hate the second one, and now we’re approaching the trilogy, and thankfully it’s an improvement. Venom: The Last Dance works best when it focuses on Eddie and Venom’s story rather than trying to determine the future of the Sonyverse.
It’s still messy, but fairer than its predecessors
If you didn’t like the previous Venom movies, this one won’t change your mind. It is easily the largest and most advanced group. It takes time with the characters, allowing us to sit with them instead of rushing to the next set piece of action. Still PG-13, it has a lot more performance than its predecessors. The action is inventive and the humor engaging.
Eddie and Venom’s relationship has never been more real
He also doesn’t shy away from being personal and emotional. I have to admit, I cried a few times at the end. Some may be disappointed with Knull’s portrayal, but I personally loved it. He feels like a major threat rather than a one-off villain and a "God of Darkness" he gets the Thanos treatment he deserves. Don’t get me wrong, the movie is still technically bad, but it knows it.
Not every movie has to be great; sometimes fun is enough
Instead of being "bad bad" chooses as "fun bad" and I will entertain you and I respect that. Even with the bare minimum, I’ve always found a strange sense of comfort with this rendition of Venom. I felt like I cared more about these characters than maybe the script intended. So I’m happy to say that, in the end, it justifies the existence of this trilogy enough – and it’s so satisfying that I’d rather live in a world with Venom movies than a world without them. .
