Secret synopsis. The third film in the 28 Days Later series. The sequel was originally supposed to be called 28 Months Later, based on the timeline motif of the film’s title. However, after we last returned to this world in 2007 (28 Weeks Later), it was thought more appropriate to title the film 28 Years Later. Followed by 28 Years Later, Part II: The Temple of Bones
