Melody Brooks, a sixth-grader with cerebral palsy, has a bright and alert mind, but because she can’t speak and uses a wheelchair, she doesn’t have the same opportunities as her classmates. When a young educator sees her student’s untapped potential and Melody begins participating in mainstream education, Melody shows that learning is what really matters.
