Amidst the gritty conflict of the twin cities of Piltover and Zaun, two sisters fight on opposite sides in a war between magical technologies and conflicting beliefs. Check out the actors behind some of your favorite animated films and series, including Ella Purnell in “Arcane.” Fortiche Productions made a music video for Riot called “Get Jinxed” in 2013, featuring Jinx and the city of Piltover. After the first season was released, Riot announced that a second season would be made and that it would take less time to produce.

The series is based on the video game League of Legends, and while it throws you right into that fictional world, the necessary time and attention is taken to set up the locations and characters in a commendable “show, don’t tell” manner.
The animation is simply exquisite
The solid character development and world building means that it’s a thoroughly enjoyable watch, even if you know nothing about the game. As an anime fan, I find the animation in Arcane to be far superior to anything I’ve ever seen in an animated series. There’s an incredible attention to detail.

Great soundtrack, great acting, and an engaging story that doesn’t mince words when it comes to violence and more adult themes. Only the first three episodes have been released so far, and I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us!
