(2024). I just finished watching Magpie (2024) and I’m really confused by the positive reception to this movie because I didn’t like it.
The movie is well shot
Positives of Magpie (2024): The performances of Daisy Ridley, Shazad Latif, and Matilda Lutz are very good in the movie. Negatives of Magpie (2024): It was hard to finish the movie and while I understand that it’s supposed to be a slow burn except that nothing was happening in the movie.
And finally, the plot twist in the movie was so dumb
I also didn’t understand what the purpose of this movie was and while someone could tell what happened, I didn’t understand any of that from this movie. Overall, Magpie (2024) was a boring piece of work for me and while there were a lot of people who enjoyed it, I certainly didn’t understand anything.
