After a traumatic incident during his residence, a young medicine student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) takes to a village hospital to a new beginning. Noticing that James is fighting and has difficulty in contact with patients, Dr. Harrison (Michael Potts’s internship and screen veteran) suggests that he creates class and facilitates deeper relationships with patients. James’s old demons begin to reach him when he is absorbed in the case of young asthma (Sidney Flanigan, never sometimes) with mysterious symptoms. His control over reality begins to slip when his disturbing nightmares, anxiety powered by speculation and physical injuries collide with the harsh reality of the world of medicine. Director Alex Thompson gathers a strong set of character veterans in his continuation of the French and the precursor of ghosts in this vision of humanistic and unconventional sex.
