It really is just about every day where we are able to celebrate all of our bi+ friends, give consideration to how we can crush biphobia and eagerly revolution that (aesthetically pleasing) bisexual banner. It is also a day where I, yet again, add a
bisexual illumination
package into my personal cart and

almost

order it. Because every selfie looks really much better with dark red and bluish lighting.

See this picture of me that inadvertently has extremely bisexual tints? Great. We promise you Really don’t hunt this hard in real life.

Queering Knightley: A bisexual’s thanks note

by Natalie Williams

Image: Disney

This part is among my absolute favourites. Written by “bisexual badass” and Archer volunteer Natalie Williams, it pays homage to Keira Knightley and her invest queer cannon. Queers tend to be obligated to find what resonates around within hetero pop society, Natalie’s ode to Keira is a perfect illustration of merely this.

Keira Knightley wasn’t merely a celebrity I experienced a crush on inside my puberty. She was a female whom gave me permission become my personal real self.”

Madison Griffiths is really an excellent author. This tender part on being bisexual and blended battle is tangible proof that. It speaks carefully of Madison’s grandmother, which men and women are often amazed to listen to is modern and supportive of queerness. Its a poetic portion which is a must-read.

Remembering my personal Korean-Australian identity at a pull bar in Seoul
by Ellie Freeman

This is a recent piece that I really loved. It paints these a vibrant picture of a lively drag bar in Korea, where pull artists and patrons as well could loudly and with pride enjoy their unique queerness. An easy very top select.

Several years of pity, racism, and biphobia had said that I found myselfn’t suitable. Maybe not right sufficient, queer adequate, woman sufficient, Asian enough, Australian adequate. Away from those walls, we were sins and unlawful. But in that pull bar, we danced. We celebrated Korea, we celebrated queerness, and I also celebrated myself personally.

Hetsplaining male bisexuality
by Josh Mckenzie

Not just did this piece introduce us to my personal now-favourite word ‘hetsplaining’, it will a brilliant job of examining the often-erased experience with male bisexuality. It talks to several scientific studies that have been finished with the intention of ‘proving’ male bisexuality, which Josh wonders about. Carry out they try to ‘prove’ heterosexuality as well? Tend to be personal experiences not enough?

This begs the question: why the aversion to male bisexuality? Will we present a threat to hegemonic maleness and therefore needs to be delegitimised?”

a tv show on 3CR
all about pansexuality. It had been printed in

Navigating thought and space as an impaired queer: Where perform some quiet queers go?
by Charlotte Sareño Raymond

This part really stuck me personally beside me for several days after I read it. It talks, in an unflinching and powerful means, to Charlotte’s experience navigating queerness and queer areas as a disabled bisexual person. They think about loss in space, recollections of their louder days, while challenging united states to think on how accessible the queer places are really. It really is a lovely article.

“If a forest falls inside the woods and there’s no body truth be told there to hear it will it nonetheless make an audio? If a loud and satisfied queer stops creating a whole lot sound perform people start considering they don’t shine thus brilliant?
