Zack Weiner is an actor living on the Upper West Side of New York City. When the film industry shuts down, Zack and his friend Joe embark on a unique project: making a movie about running for City Council, but actually running for New York City Council. Zack and his campaign are working with their local community to improve the lives of their West Side residents, but the campaign is struggling to gain traction. Then, using some unconventional tactics, Zack’s team catapults their small campaign to the top of New York City politics.
