Story
A modern-day story about finding a fortune in the world of West Texas oil rigs.. Watch the most popular movies and TV series from writer/director Taylor Sheridan on IMDb, sorted by user rating in the petroleum industry, acts as a middleman between the exploration companies and the landowners. Typically, a landman’s job is to negotiate and enter into contracts with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent.

Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for the workers (men’s camps), assemble the excavation machinery, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also part fixers, problem solvers, and mediators.. My criticism is purely based on the entertainment value of the show and whether it’s a waste of time.
Smart, witty retorts are his forte
It’s obvious that Billy Bob Thornton makes the show with a strong supporting cast, so if expletives aren’t your thing, you probably haven’t seen Bad Santa or any of his other movies for the most part. The first two episodes are definitely entertaining, and I love the balance of humor and an unexpected WTF moment. I’d say it’s a strong enough start to keep you watching.

A dark show that almost seems out of place in today’s society, as everyone has to walk on eggshells with what they do or say to avoid offending anyone. For that, I can appreciate it. In the show, Thornton’s 17-year-old daughter is sexualized a little bit, but after researching, 17 is the age of consent in Texas, where the show is set, but it’s still a bit odd to me, which is why I didn’t.
Other than that, it’s entertaining and not a waste of time
Hopefully the first two episodes set the tone for what’s to come, rather than just a taste of where the show starts to fall apart as it continues.
