Story
When he moves his car while drunk, Mark loses his driver’s license and has to pass the MPA. During a course he meets Helena and tries to get sober with her, but temptations lurk everywhere..
After Mark’s first failed attempt to get sober, Helen mentioned that he only managed 27 days [00:41:50]
Then [00:42:35] in Mark’s apartment, the fixed calendar pages show that he’s only made it 25 days. This movie isn’t just about the main character’s fight against a serious illness, it’s much more about how society handles the fine line between taking alcohol or other drugs and when life spirals out of control because of it.
Jung and his neighbor
There is the same fine line between being admired for not being boring and living life to the fullest and not allowing too much enjoyment – a very interesting moment depicted between Mr. Alcohol certainly makes it easier to get into fun party mode, but in a fragile and short-lived fashion that can easily turn into aggression.
A delicate subject, with great acting, and frankly much better than expected – more serious than you might think from the cast and setting
Although the plot may not contain many surprises, it still shows well that alcohol cannot be an ingredient of a happy life for obvious reasons.
