Video games have made the leap to the screen in a big way, and we’re celebrating the genre by taking a closer look at over 50 video game adaptations into movies and shows. Clive Standen will reprise his role as the voice of Demetrius Titus, the main character in the video game Space Marine 2.
They feel like learning curves
Referenced in Film Junk Podcast: Episode 973: Carry-On (2024). The animation is gorgeous, there’s no denying it. I have a hard time getting excited about episodes this short.
Reeves and Arnie both play enjoyable roles
You can’t really get into it because you know it’s over before you can even connect with the characters. It was nice to see some celebrity involvement. It’s just a little too experimental and shallow for me.
The Pacman episode was okay
Plus, if I had the chance to choose the source material, I think I would have chosen a completely different set of games to worship. But it was a display of artistic freedom pushed to its absolute limit. It made me laugh at least.
Overall, I found the whole series a little disappointing
