Malegaon Superboys is a film based on the life of Malegaon’s amateur director Naseer Sheikh. City dwellers look to Bollywood movies to escape their daily routine. Nasir is inspired to make a film for the people of Malegon, made by the people of Malegon. He brings his motley crew of friends together to realize his vision, bringing new life to the town. The film is a poignant but heartfelt look at filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when these two worlds collide.
