in “The Penguin” Getting a cameo from Robert Pattinson
Story
Following the events of “The Batman” (2022), Oz Cobb, aka the Penguin, attempts to take over the reins of Gotham’s underworld. Aside from the bat signal in the final scene of the season finale, we don’t get any. In this short video, IMDb tries to answer the question: Where the hell was Batman? Colin Farrell fought hard to have his version of The Batman (2022) Penguin smoke tobacco, but failed.

However, in his own series, the character is portrayed as a casual tobacco user with a penchant for cigars. The DC Studios logo is seen in a rainy alley in Gotham. logo. Seen in “Graham Norton i gosti”: Lady Gaga/Demi Moore/Colin Farrell/Richard Ayoade/Jack Savoretti (2024).
But after episode 1, I can confirm that this series is fantastic (so far)
I thought Colin Farrell was great as the Penguin in Batman, but I never understood why you would put a skinny, handsome, toned actor in giant prosthetics and a fat suit… especially since I think he looks like other famous actors who are similar, which would have been just as good. I also don’t understand why this spinoff was made, and to be honest, I’m tired of Batman reboots. I only watched it because I knew it was supposed to be seen as a bridge between the first and second movies, and because I surprisingly liked Farrell in the role in the first one.
But I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did
The acting is great, the writing is excellent, and I was surprised by some quick twists. What I liked most was that there was a lot more color here than in Batman. I noticed this almost immediately, as for me it was a big complaint about the movie (it felt like I was watching it through Zack Snyder’s lens). I hope it continues well because I can’t wait for the next episode.
