Story
This film was supposed to follow a young boy who is separated from his father during World War II. The boy discovers the island of Sodor, where he meets Thomas the Tank Engine and ventures to find his father. It was supposed to be the second feature film in the franchise (following Thomas the Train in 2000) and was set to be released in 2010. Due to numerous production problems, the film was repeatedly delayed until it was eventually canceled in 2015. ., when HIT Entertainment went out of business and sold its ownership to Mattel.
